I recently did a photo shoot with a local photographer and new friend, Benjamin Homburg. I’m really proud of this shoot and super excited to see the rest of the results.
I’m definitely a novice at it all, but I’ve recently decided to have a go at it again and I felt that this shoot with Ben was my best yet. Helps to have an awesome person behind the camera and lights!
Ben’s original edit had more focus on the statement necklace I’m wearing with an awesome blue filter (for lack of a better description) that really popped my eyes. But I just can’t get away from my love of black and grey portraits. Sue me.

The child was apparently taken by three male Hispanics.

Off to the Ethiopian Diamond for a Valentine’s dinner with my boyfriend since our coming week doesn’t match up enough for an actual Valentine’s day.
His band also has a show coming up Friday the 15th at Cobra Lounge in Chicago. Feel free to check out Without Waves and come out and join. $5 show, which is pretty darn cheap.
